Who we are

Neurogenics Autism Clinic is run by Alan Lee, who is the data controller for the personal information described here. Contact us at alan@neurogenicsclinic.co.uk, on 01492 870889 | 07814 528087, or at Oxford House, Oxford Road, Llandudno LL30 1DH.

What we collect and why

  • Contact and booking requests. Your name, email, phone number and message, used to reply to you and arrange appointments. Lawful basis: your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to you.
  • Newsletter. If you sign up, your name and email address, the page you signed up on and the date, used only to send you autism and brain health emails. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us.
  • Children. Where we see a child, we collect information from their parent or carer, and involve the child as much as they are able and wish to be.
  • Consultations. Information you share during consultations, including health information, forms part of your clinical record, which is kept securely and confidentially. Lawful basis: your explicit consent and the provision of health care.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We use trusted service providers to run the site and the clinic, including Hostinger (website hosting and email). Where testing is agreed, the relevant laboratory receives the information needed to process your sample. With your agreement, we share findings with your GP or specialist team. Some providers may process data outside the UK, under appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them, and normally no longer than two years. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. Clinical records are kept for the period required for health records.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for a copy. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email us to make a request. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
